Description
Herringbone purfling for guitars and other musical instruments
- Medium pattern to suit small and large guitars
- Blacks are flexible fiber, whites are maple timber
- 3.56 x 1.59 x 812.80 mm
These purflings can be pre bent to most shapes by hand bending them around a curved object such as a pipe or bottle. Do not use water, heat may be used for obtaining tight bends.
Purflings are used inside the binding as extra decoration, normally the purflings are arranged so that there is a black layer against a light coloured top, back or binding and a white layer against a dark back, top or binding. These purflings can be glued in place using a wood glue like Titebond.
