This full-scale printed plan of a soprano ukulele is beautifully drawn. It includes a fret slotting chart, materials list, bracing diagram, neck details & more. This plan is based on a Martin soprano ukulele. The soprano is the smallest size ukulele and has a scale length of 13.5". Ukuleles are slightly easier to build than guitars due to their small size and general lack of ornamentation. A variety of different tonewoods can be used to change the look and sound of the instrument. Ukuleles are often left very simple but more decoration such as inlays and binding can be used if desired.
